Grand Targhee Resort and Jorgenson Associates, a local Engineering Firm working with the Resort, hosted an Open House as the first step to submitting an Amendment on the Master Plan. The preliminary approval that was first granted in 2008, came amidst a market downturn and thus has been tabled until recently.
NOW, Grand Targhee Resort revisited the Master Plan to address Teton County Wyoming new Comprehensive Plan and Regulations. The Amendment does not change the total units (450 units and 150,000 sq ft. of commercial space) however, it addresses the conditions and reporting requirements by Teton County, Wyoming. Resort officials have been meeting with county planning staff for the last few months and are hopeful that they will be officially submitting the Amendment to the Master Plan in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
