Grand Targhee Resort Real Estate Priority List

We are very excited to announce that Grand Targhee Resort's Expansion Plan was approved by the Teton County, WY Board of County Commissioners on Monday, February 4th!
After more than three years of planning, hearings and public input, Grand Targhee Resort is ready to expand from 96 to 450 housing units. The Resort is allowed 45 single family units, 45 cabins or town homes, and the remaining 360 units will be comprised of condo, condo-hotel, and employee units. "We are thrilled to be moving forward. It is time for Grand Targhee to become a creative and inspirational leader in the worlds of mountain sports, culture, activities, and events," comments owner Geordie Gillett.
In keeping with the owners' long standing policy of responsible development, the future of Grand Targhee Resort is one committed to a well-planned and environmentally conscious resort. Grand Targhee Resort will move forward with the development of a land use plan. This careful development will take time, and real estate opportunities will not be available until these plans are approved and finalized. Resort officials estimate that this process could take 9 to 18 months. We will strive to keep you informed, via e-mail, as this process progresses and properties and pricing are defined. We ask for your patience and continued interest as we undertake this much anticipated next step. We are all very excited about the future of the resort and the opportunities that will be opening on the mountain for ownership.
